IT Service Manager Key part of my role is to align the NZ IT delivery function with the ANZ business strategy. Manage complex infrastructure across ANZ, deliver IT Projects and manage all key IT vendor relationships. I manage and lead a mixed team of GE staff, onsite vendors and independent contractors to provide IT Infrastructure and support to the New Zealand business. Part of my role is also to maintain availability/security/reliability of applications, services and systems and maintain IT BCP plan. I work alongside other Support Leaders in NZ and Australia to align IT processes with business and IT strategy and collaborate on any issues, projects or initiatives. Projects Migrated NZ telephony platform from ISDN to SIP Solution Delivered a Citrix Infrastructure platform to NZ business, leading to consolidated global infrastructure, significant future savings and simplified administration of the infrastructure by implementing this solution Migration of users to new domain Migration of desktop fleet to Windows 7 Wellington site move and decommission of an Auckland site Simplification Projects: Deliver“ Follow me” printing solution to the business which allowed secure printing to any printer in the building Setup elink technology to automate ordering of printing consumables and printer faults reporting directly to vendor Loan assets added to Outlook booking system Currently working on project streams below to spilt the GE consumer business from GE Physical Site Separation Vendor Services and Contract Separation Voice Infrastructure Separation Infrastructure separation-LAN, WAN, servers and SAN applications, vendor access Vendors Deep Dive-Conducted a Vendor Deep dive on Vodafone, Telecom, Datacom and Dell accounts leading to changes, consolidation and process improvement. Savings of appr $400k pa All of the above included development of project initiation documents, Statement of Work, Letters of Engagement and tracking of schedule and cost against the plan. Notable Achievements as Service Manager: Reduction of aged tickets logged by NZ users to null in 3 months Techbar-face to face interaction with users launched Initiated Lunch & Learn sessions to increase awareness across various technologies

Change Analyst/Consultant Auckland Council IS department was one of the largest IS departments with 8000 council staff, geographically dispersed across Rodney, North Shore, Waitakere, Manukau and Auckland CBD and 8 council's IS systems merged into one. As a change analyst I managed all Infrastructure related changes resulting from changes to the infrastructure and enterprise applications. Some of my responsibilities included Change Control for IS Operational and Project Related Change and to ensure effective communication and relationship Management with stakeholders.
