Senior Manager, Strategic Alliances
At Microsoft Open Solutions Group, I was responsible for business development, sales and marketing for strategic alliances in EMEA focusing on mixed-source strategic alliances in areas of cloud computing and heterogeneous infrastructures. Through this role I have successfully led regional sales and marketing activities in EMEA, as well as supported various corporate marketing initiatives, and conducted several business development projects as part of the Microsoft infrastructure and private and hybrid cloud solutions in EMEA. This included extensive work most recently in the developing markets of the Middle East and Africa. As part of this work I worked extensively with a wide array of tier 1 technology partners and ISVs in delivering sales enablement, resources, and joint marketing plans for our unique product offerings, which included selling open source technologies, like Linux, to the MSFT enterprise customers and partners. Finally, I also managed a significant P&L as part of this role and was responsible for a medium sized marketing budget over the course of several years.
