About Ammar Charani

A successful serial entrepreneur and angel investor, Ammar Charani has established companies in a wide range of industries. One of Ammar Charani’s most recent projects was Suntrough Energy, a company he co-founded that seeks to make solar technology an inexpensive source of renewable energy. Suntrough Energy engineers generate cost-effective thermal power using parabolic trough technology, a technique that supports hybridization with other sources of energy, from natural gas to biomass, for around-the-clock energy generation.

At present, Ammar Charani serves as the chairman of the telecommunications company NetOne International, Inc., which provides cutting-edge technologies and services to customers around the world. He has been at the helm of this company for 15 years. Ammar Charani also chairs Arxiel Ventures, which works closely with investors to demonstrate how they can receive an impressive return on investment while supporting developing economies and driving the renewable energy sector.

Ammar Charani established his first company, AMC Transatlantic Trading, while an undergraduate student of mechanical engineering. Shortly after graduation, he created MEF Connect, which allowed local communities to generate contributions to schools without extra costs to consumers. Charani’s other ventures include International Community Marketing, which he grew to $300 million in sales in a little over a year, and Guidance Financial Group, which creates innovative investment products that meet the changing needs of institutional investors, with a focus in the areas of private equity, fixed-income investment products, and real estate.

Outside of his work duties, Charani chairs the Orlando chapter of the World Presidents’ Organization.
