I managed the behavioural research programme for a leading international sports brand worth over £5m in revenue per year. I developed the following transferable skills:

  • Quantitative analysis/Report writing: Led a team to produce a series of actionable research reports that monitored and evaluated key brand-health metrics for our client's brand across 28 key global markets
  • Questionnaire design/Project management: Designed, tested and implemented questionnaire changes and managed a team of international suppliers to ensure surveys were launched into field on time.
  • Client management: Managed client timelines appropriately ensuring that research deliverables were met ahead of client expectations. 
  • Business development: Assisted with the preparation of pitch documents for new business proposals, helping to secure new business worth up to $350,000 globally.

I managed HSBC's quantitative and qualitative consumer research programme for small and medium sized businesses with turnovers of up to £350m revenue. I developed the following transferable skills:

  • Quantitative research/Project management Managed the bank's quantitative research programme by amalgamating research inputs from different suppliers and provided clear actionable insights to senior managers to inform decision-making on best banking practices.
  • Qualitative research/Project management: Led the research design and methodology of two ad hoc pieces of research designed to improve the bank's mobile app and business bank account, which resulted in newly revamped mobile app, and a brand new product launch of the business current account.
  • Stakeholder management: Presented consumer insights to internal stakeholders on the performance of their individual businesses in order to inspire action and develop new marketing and digital strategies.

I helped to grow and defend Bloomberg's business in the Scandinavian and Baltic markets. I developed the following skills:

  • Business development: I grew Bloomberg's pipeline of new business worth $100,000 per year and defended the business against competing brands in Finland, Norway and Estonia, averting losses of up to $400,000 per year in revenue.
  • Cross-cultural/Client management: I consulted with the heads of FX and Commodity trading desks to demonstrate Bloomberg's value in providing research and analysis of the financial markets .
  • Research/Analysis: I used SWOT and PESTLE frameworks as a means of conducting internal research and analysis to identify new opportunities to grow sales across the region.
  • Presentation:Facilitated monthly training sessions with up to 30 clients to teach new users how to use Bloomberg's suite of financial tools, including technical analysis and the use of behavioural-based trading strategies.

  • Report writing: Created monthly and quarterly reporting packs for the US, APAC, LATAM and EMEA markets on the banks traded product volumes, employee headcount costs and the costs per trade. 
  • Presentation: Presented PowerPoint decks to senior management to drive consensus around future hiring activity within the business.
  • International/Cross cultural: Developed ability to work in a demanding and fast-paced banking environment in North America. 
  • Excel modelling: Assisted with ad hoc projects, such as modelling employee efficiency rates across the Fixed Income Operations business
