In his current position as Senior Director of Business Development for inProjects Group’s Advisory Services unit, Ami Katiyar has developed growth strategies for a wide range of international corporations, particularly for the luxury, retail, lifestyle, and hospitality sectors. These growth and optimization strategies are designed to reduce costs, generate increased revenue, and boost market expansion. Ami Katiyar began his exceptional career in global growth and revenue strategies and business development as a Team Lead in the Management Consulting Services division at the leading global professional services firm PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. In this position, he managed a group of 30 employees across four companies in his work for the largest telecommunications joint venture in South America. Since that time, he has held high-level executive management positions at Levi Strauss & Co.; Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc.; and Bombardier, Inc. Since joining the world of international business in 1997, Ami Katiyar has amassed 13 years of experience in strategic planning; eight years of expertise in revenue growth planning; seven years of experience in working with retail, hospitality, and lifestyle brands; and seven years of experience in business development in global and emerging markets. Ami Katiyar offers complete life-cycle market development from the earliest stages of idea formation to late-stage marketing and execution. Known for developing innovative plans for non-incremental sources of revenues, Ami Katiyar leverages extensive experience in cross-industry assessment, dynamic market trends, and competitive benchmarking. Mr. Katiyar has developed business cases and pro formas to push the viability of a strategic growth plan with an executive audience. A 1997 graduate of Cornell University with a BA in Economics and International Relations, Ami Katiyar received his MBA from Duke University’s preeminent Fuqua School of Business in 2004.
