This skill seems to go hand in hand with writing, however, it has only been recently that my editing skills have been able to benefit more people than just me. Other students in my classes have asked me to go over their papers and speeches to make sure the grammar, punctuation, and progression of the material seemed organized and understandable. While, I edit my own work regularly, I have grown to love looking at others' works and helping them create the perfect piece of writing they can produce.

Writing, while being my Minor in school, is also one of my fondest hobbies, which has helped me practice very well. I have written papers and speeches for several classes, along with short stories and poetry. My short story "Nothing Serious" received second place in Georgia Southern's Roy F. Powell Award 2013, and my poem "The Wintergreen" will be published in Georgia Southern's literary magazine, Miscellany.

sales associate

I learned a lot about sales during my short time there. I was able to keep my area organized and my customers happy, which in turn made my supervisors very happy. And I especially learned the importance of inventory once the time came around. My leaving was due to school starting back up shortly, and having the necessity to move back home to prepare and move into my, at the time, new apartment.
