Ambrish Kinariwala grew up in India, where he attended the University of Mumbai and ultimately earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. To further his education, he pursued a graduate degree in computer science at the University of Massachusetts.
Thereafter, Ambrish Kinariwala began a career in the US tech industry.
Working at Nortel Networks from 2000 to 2006, Ambrish managed different projects, providing guidance at the different stages of the software development life cycle. From 2006 to 2009, he worked for Acme Packet as a senior software engineer, and in 2010, he transferred to Acme Packet’s office in Melbourne, Australia. Acme Packet was acquired by Oracle in Feb 2013.
After a year of work as a senior systems engineer in Melbourne, Mr. Kinariwala started a full-time MBA program at the University of Melbourne, Melbourne Business School. He earned a degree in business with a concentration in finance and strategy in 2012. Subsequently, he took on the role of senior consultant in Technology and Projects at the PriceWaterhouseCoopers office in Melbourne.
During his leisure time, Mr. Kinariwala enjoys spending time with his family, holidaying at beach destinations, and is a cricket enthusiast. He also takes delight in cooking Indian food.
