Marketing piece created for the viewing of potential corporate sponsors of the Edward Jones Scholarship Program: Details of the program, who receives the scholarship, and what is expected from scholars are presented.
An easy-to-read reminder about how easy it is to maintain effective public relations regarding the Edward Jones Scholars. It is meant to be a reference tool for the program supervisors.
Second marketing piece created for EJ folder: States the "call of action" for potential corporate sponsors, asking them to think about committing to the program.
Third marketing piece for EJ folder: It outlines the commitment expected on both the company and scholar side as well as benefits the company will be rewarded with by doing so.
Final marketing piece for the EJ folder: Gives face and voice to the EJ Scholars by quoting what the scholarship means to the presented recipient.
I updated and turned around the Facebook page for the Edward Jones Scholars. I added voice to the scholars, organized and added pictures, encouraged participation, and frequently updated the page with relevant happenings.
11/24/12 - I planned a successful networking event between the EJ Scholars and the Drury Board of Trustees. Over 25 scholars and 15 Trustees attended the event. Raving compliments came afterward and this will now become a planned, annual event.
Fourth marketing piece for EJ folder: I researched and gathered statistics of scholar demographics such as hometowns and ethnic background in order to create a piece that answers questions that potential corporate sponsors may have about the scholars.

I assisted with event planning details for Taste of the Ozarks, a large scale fundraiser for BBBS that raised $160,000. Building up to the big night, my duties included: obtaining auction items by talking to business managers or marketing personnel; designing a promotional email; and managing the silent auction portion of the event.
