  • Studied regions of Europe, Asia, & Middle East; with the main area of emphasis in Latin America and the Caribbean.
  • Was a four year varsity letter-winner of the UCI Division I Men's Soccer team.
    • Played an integral part in the first team in school history to reach the NCAA Tournament, eventually playing in the competition two total times.
    • Evolved into a natural leader and captain on the team on and off the field, coaching and teaching numerous camps and making public appearances around the city to help build the football interest around the community.


  • Won multiple team and individual awards including: Two Big West Conference League and Tournament Championships, Two Big West Conference Offensive Player of the Year Awards, and Two Big West Conference First Team All-Conference Awards.
  • Received Scholar-Athlete Award at UC Irivne 2008, 2009, 2010
  • Volunteered and spoke at numerous organizations such as: Academy of Holy Angels in Minneapolis, MN; the Ryan Nece Foundation in Tampa, FL; and Children's Hospital of Orange County, CA
