As the sales representative and office manager for Stone Cup Roasting Co., I managed all 50-60 of our specialty accounts in the Southeast. This included, but was never limited to, completing the weekly call log, entering and facilitating orders, troubleshooting customer problems, delivering coffee, training customers and sampling roasting and cupping new coffees.
I coordinated many demos and coffee events around Chattanooga with local vendors and cafes. I also designed and produced coordinating marketing materials for these events and for specific customer needs. I put together a quarterly newsletter highlighting upcoming events and new coffees offerings. I also hosted quarterly coffee tastings at the roaster, inviting all of our Southeast customers to participate. I organized an educational series of lectures and demos at a local grocery store to promote not only Stone Cup, but the specialty coffee industry in general.
In addition to these duties, I provided administrative support to Stone Cup's president as the office manager. This included keeping up with correspondence, coordinating meetings, keeping inventory of supplies (including coffee- green and roasted), answering the phone and processing the mail.
While at Stone Cup, I earned my Barista Guild Level 1 certification.
