Plaza Medical Center of Fort Worth - Worked night shift rotations in Oncology.  Observed individualized chemo protocols. Provided comprehensive, hands on care at the direction of supervising nurse including patient pre-op preparation, restraints and NG intubation. Ensured all actions were in compliance with the procedure rules and regulations. Applied numerous skills not previously administered.

Texas Health Resources, Harris Southwest  -  Rotations in ER, ICU, PCU, PCU1.  Acquired further experience in assessment and skills implementation.  Worked closely with patients physicians and assigned nurse to  report symptoms and changes in patients' conditions. Provided emotional support to the family members of a terminal patient. Assisted with the dispensing of medications, documentation of medication administration, and assessment of response to medications

John Peter Smith Hospital - Rotations in Psych ER (Triage), Trinity Spring Pavilion: 2NW, 2SW, LCA, AIU.  Enhanced therapeutic communication skills through one on one and group interactions. Observed crisis interventions and stabilization of patient's acute psychiatric symptoms. Gained additional knowledge of psychiatric medications.

Cooks Children's Medical Center - Rotations  in Inpatient psychiatric unit. Observed mental health therapeutic treatments including  community groups, coping skills group,  videos and goals group.

University Behavioral Health of Denton - One day rotation to observe specialized care in Adolescent Inpatient Unit for individuals  with mental health illness and drug or alcohol dependency.

All Church Home - One day rotation to observe therapeutic residential services for children, ages 4-13, with moderate to severe behavior problems being taught adaptive habits to support family reunification.

John Peter Smith Hospital - Rotations in Observations, Ortho, PCU. Assisted in delivering services to a diverse community population at the publicly funded county health network. Conducted specified bedside laboratory tests.  Gained exposure to specialized equipment used following orthopedic surgeries.

Cooks Children's Medical Center - Rotations on Cardio, GI and Renal floor.  Aided in actions taken and communicated extensively with parents on care being administered to their children.

Boswell High School - Three day rotation. Assisted in assessments of students visiting clinic and then followed up with appropriate interventions or further assessments such as BP, temp, pulse, and O2.

Kinder Frogs - One day rotation. Expanded knowledge of Down Syndrome and the focus given to speech, physical and occupational therapies.

Child Study Center of Fort Worth - One day rotation.  Observed child, potty, feeding, walking, and speech protocols used with behaviors associated with autism.
