Trango, now the Mobile Virtualization Platform (MVP) team within VMware, is based in Grenoble France, and is a provider of virtualization software for embedded applications. My staff and I were responsible for our worldwide marketing strategy and execution including press releases, 3rd party relations, tradeshow schedule, web site, email marketing campaigns, roadmap planning, creation and placement of articles, white papers, and business development. Customers for our products included cellular handset OEMs, manufacturers of wireless infrastructure products, and set top box designers.
I had an extremely broad set of responsibilities including leading the redesign and update of the corporate web page. During my watch traffic increased nearly 50%. As part of my strategy to raise the company profile I created a corporate entry in Wikipedia which from its inception became the single largest contributer to redirected web traffic to our site. I spoke at numerous trade events, published several articles for publication, and worked closely with analysts, the press, and 3rd party partners such as Microsoft and Cavium Networks. I was an active member of the Multi Core Association's Hypervisor Working Group as well as Chairman of the Hypervisor Working Group of the EEMBC benchmarking consortium leading work on the Hypermark suite, a benchmarking suite designed to rigorously test the performance of embedded virtualization solutions.

I Managed the rollout planning for the ExtendiScale product line, previously known in the industry by the codename "Horus".This family of products allowed AMD Opteron devices to be scaled in SMP/ccNUMA configurations up to 32 sockets.I worked with key customers, managed a variety of internal projects, wrote white papers and datasheets, and led the company’s efforts with industry groups such as AMD’s Torrenza initiative, and the Hypertransport Consortium.

I was responsible for tactical marketing and project managment for key accounts such as Freescale, Infineon, and Agere (now LSI Logic) as well as business development for The Americas.
