I am an enthusiastic and energetic individual, seeking employment as a PADI Instructor.
Having worked in a variety of customer based roles across a number of sectors, I have gained an unique skill set and knowledge base. From teaching musical theatre to 5 year old children, to leading newly qualified divers in the Caribbean, I am passionate about teaching and excited to extend this to the world of diving. My creative and sociable nature allows me to work well alongside others in a professional manner, and make me a enthusiastic and hard-working member of any team. As a newly qualified OWSI, I believe these skills and personal attributes are essential, and complement my passion and determination to succeed in a career in the diving industry.

Represented Utila Dive Centre at DIVE 2015, one of the largest dive shows for professionals, trade and recreational divers in the UK. Displayed my knowledge regarding both recreational and professional training and enthusiasm for diving.
Led both newly qualified divers and experienced divers around the dive sites on both South and North of the island. Responsible for greeting fun divers on arrival at the shop, setting up their equipment and briefing them on shore and between dives, and completing dive logs after the dive
8 week DM internship, during which I was a key member of the shop staff. Responsibilities included setting up the boat twice a day for fun divers and students, organising the kit room and briefing divers before and after dives. During the internship I assisted on 3 Open Water, 2 Advanced OW and 2 Rescue Diver courses, shadowing experienced MSDT instructors and assisting with supervision of students both in and out of the water. Additionally, I completed dive site mapping, reef and beach clean ups and marine conservation through Project Aware's "Coral Watch” programme. My hard work and enthusiasm was rewarded, winning “UDC Staff of the Month” for July.
Full and part time work in busy city centre store Responsible for all aspects of shop floor work: money management, serving customers and cleaning cafe.
Responsible for care of 3 children: 6 months, 3 years and 5 years old. High level of responsibility from day to day care of children, household tasks, cooking and cleaning. Communicated with children and their mother in German
Taught singing, dance and drama to children aged 4-7 years old. Two classes per week that were fully devised and delivered by myself. High level of responsibility, caring and educating 15 children in each class.
Graduated June 2016 with a Upper Second Class Bachelor of Science with honors. Dissertation titled "Log Off and Live: Social Media "Detox" Increases Well-Being". Interest in health, well-being, and social interaction.
IDC completed under CD Jhair Herrera . Certified in August 2015 by Utila Dive Centre, a PADI 5 Star Facility and Career Development Centre.
