While at Maxim, Mr. Foughi gained recognition for spearheading the improvement of underperforming business units, driving innovation, and developing market-disruptive products. Early in his career, Ali Foughi built a $50 million business from the ground up, taking it from concept to a position of market leadership in just 5½; years. Following this success, Mr. Foughi was promoted to reinvigorate two dispirited business units with lackluster revenues. In the 5 years that followed, Ali Foughi not only revitalized product roadmaps and improved employee morale, but also grew revenues over 60% to nearly $300 million. As a direct result of his transformative efforts, several product lines either achieved or expanded their #1 global market share, and key customers upgraded Maxim to "strategic supplier" status.Ali Foughi additionally excels at recruiting and mentoring talent, having overseen the hiring of more than 60 professionals while achieving a retention rate of 97%. These employees encompassed diverse specializations, including design engineering, field applications, marketing, product definition, and business management.
