The project consists of 4 basement levels and a 63 story tower comprising of the Hotel & Residential Apartments, as well as a Podium comprising of several Pavilions, Kids areas, Pools and Ballrooms.

Total gross construction area = 160,000 square meters.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review of the Project General Conditions of Contract
• Procurement of Main Packages for the Project. Including preparations and issuance of Package RFQ's. Following up with Subcontractors for quotations and setting up meetings.
• Preparation of Procurement Schedules in line with Project Baseline Schedules
• Awarding of Main Project Packages including Concrete, Steel & Finishes.
• Cross checking all received offers and quotations against the Project Specifications & Requirements, as well as making price comparisons with Project Budget.
• Leading all procurement initial and final negotiations with qualified vendors & Subcontractors to achieve best prices within our budget and cost saving.
• Preparation and issuance of Letter of Intents/Awards to Subcontractors and issuance of Subcontract Agreements and Documents
• Coordination between site, technical offices and awarded subcontractors regarding all relevant contractual and technical aspects of awarded packages.
• Excellent communication skills with oversees companies to receive best compliant offers for materials & finishing packages.

Project Name: Beirut City Centre Project - Beirut, Lebanon

• Project Value: 300 Million US Dollars
• Project Category: Commercial Shopping Mall

The project consists of 60,000 square meters of more than 200 stores. Four levels and 3 basement parking levels. Total gross construction area= 175, 000 square meters.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Site Engineer in charge of external waterproofing works of the project’s Frame Works package (duration: 6 months)
• Preparation and submission of material submittals for all finishing packages.
• Procurement of materials of main project finishing works, including interior & exterior tiling, paints, ceilings, toilet accessories & fixtures, etc. All in accordance an in compliance with Project Specifications & Requirements.
• Preparation and issuance of Purchase Orders for materials and samples.
• Comparative analysis between the budget and the quotations received.
• Projects control; preparation of variation orders, and subcontractor’s contract agreements, including the preparation and issuance of Letter of Intents/Acceptances.
• Coordination between Site, engineering departments, and subcontractors regarding all the finishing materials
• Issuance of package Final Accounts to the Client after in-depth analysis of final accounts budget against final selling prices and the actual procured prices.

Project Name: LAMAR Towers Project - Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

• Project Value: 666 Million US Dollars
• Project Category: High Rise Building Construction

The project consists of two high rise residential towers(stories and 65 stories) along with 10 levels of office, 2 levels of retail podium, 7 levels of car park and 2 levels of basement. Total gross construction area= 150, 000 square meters.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Preparation and submission of shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals for approval.
• Coordination of shop drawings between Subcontractors and other nominated specialty contractors namely, MEP, Vertical Transportation and External Cladding.
• Steel reinforcement purchase coordinator. Supervision of Document Control.
• Preparation of weekly status updates of shop drawings submittal progress and actual construction progress and preparation of daily construction reports.

Jeddah, KSA(Internship) Internship for two months at Arabian BEMCO, I worked on the different Civil Engineering aspects as in the design of beams, columns, slabs, and footings, with full structural analysis. Worked on the Riyadh Power Generation Plant Site and learned various techniques in construction, concrete pouring, the laying of foundations, steel bending, QA/QC, and precast building set-up.
