Partook in the contest by creating and entering an evening gown made solely of paper products accessorized with metal materials. My original design was awarded "The Most Unique Design" award out of 15 total garments.

Green is the New Black Fashion Show

Assisted in various aspects of producing a runway show. I produced a garment composed of recyclable materials, assigned a model, and styled her accordingly from head to toe.

Fashion Merchandising

Throughout the duration of the month long program, I gained experience in all aspects of the fashion industry: design, fabrics, illustration, merchandising, promotion/public relations, and developing a line. I was 1 of 4 members on the advertising and promotion team to develop campaigns for our "Couture Clash" line.  My responsibilities in this role entailed, but were not limited to discovering the celebrity face of our brand, researching previous campaigns and advertisements that were successful, and creating images and messages that sparked interest from our target market.

Public Relations Portfolio

For Organizational Communication, me and three of my fellow team members created a trainer and a trainee manual explaining how to respond to threats within a zoo facility. We then implemented the training within the class setting, distributing certifications upon completion.
