Summary

I have been involved in global talent acquisition since 1996 and led talent acquisition teams with as many as 8+ direct reports responsible for talent acquisition and management on 5 continents. I currently serve as the VP of Social Media for SHRM-Atlanta and manage 6 social media platforms including; Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, Foursquare and the SHRM-Atlanta blog.   The bulk of organizations I have supported have been technology based organizations that are in the rapid growth stage (an example was adding 500+ staff members in a 12 month period). I have a passion for leading the efforts of these teams through clear goal setting, encouraging good behavior and holding my teams accountable to a high standard of performance. Lastly I impact organizations because I have passion and enthusiasm for learning. I study, evangelize and incorporate an abundance of talent acquisition tools to create high impact teams including;

  • Built and led a team of 6 recruiters and 2 recruiting assistants responsible for all global talent acquisition and management efforts for North America, Southeast Asia, Middle East, and Africa.
  • Created all talent acquisition processes including; requisition process, formal job descriptions, enhanced applicant tracking capabilities (which later led to adding an ATS system), background and drug screening requirements.
  • Team was responsible for high growth; 200 employees to 600+ in a 12 month period.
