Alex Olsen is a 20 year Ventura, CA resident and commercial real estate executive with The Becker Group. Given his 2 decades of experience, specializing in downtown redevelopment, Alex has brokered many of the commercial redevelopment projects that have transformed the City of Ventura in recent years.
In his role, Alex engages with developers, commercial agents, investors, and City/County planners in guiding projects from concept/vision to completion. He’s proud to have been the key driver in re-envisioning the downtown Elks Lodge (built in 1929 with many special touches) to preserving the heritage and rich history for the community and visitors to enjoy for many more decades. His firm additionally provides property management services for all types of properties with an emphasis on maintaining consistently high occupancy rates.
Prior to arriving in Ventura, Alex grew up in Sacramento, CA, where he attended Jesuit High and founded the Jesuit Rugby Club which has gone on to achieve a #1 ranking nationwide. From there, Alex attended California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo - Cal Poly, graduating with a BS degree in Agriculture Business. He remains an active alumni member.
Alex thrives being outdoors, enjoys skiing, golfing, hiking, and enjoying the beaches of the Central Coast.
