Operations Officer- Field Office Zugdidi

European Union Monitoring Mission in Georgia

During my tour of duty as OPS Officer in Field Office Zugdidi I was in charge of planning, tasking and coordinating the operational activities of the field office (60 international personnel and 10 national staff). In addition, I was responsible for briefing the representatives of the EU and broad international community, write special reports and fact-finding notes to HQ Tbilisi, and handle field incidents and events according to the special procedures in place.

I strongly believe in the essential role played by of civil society in the overall development of a society.
