Ecological Measurement, Oban, Scotland. Ecological surveying across Scotland to observe: invertebrates, water profiles; forest carbon stocks and soil chemistry.
Field Course in Tropical Marine and Terrestrial Geoscience, Discovery Bay Marine Laboratory and localities, Jamaica. Investigated the human impact associated with the bauxite mining industry and overfishing on the marine environment - hydrological sampling in remote locations.
Key skills: R and Minitab statistical Software used for data handling; population modelling and generating statistical models.Natural Resource Management techniques including: stakeholder analysis, SWOT/STEEP charts and cost benefit analysis.
