Summary

The Cloud is the way of the business. Buzz words of a few years ago has become a major backbone of the Internet and an increasingly more important part of how enterprise stay competitive and push for innovation. It is where a small start up can go from concept prototype to global scale production at blazing speed.

That is the space I thrive in - Being part of the transformation and innovation. Where do you go, and how do you get there in an extremely agile world of technology?

With more than 20 years of developer experience based (mostly) in Microsoft technologies I started to work with and follow what was then called Windows Azure in 2011, and I have been specializing my skills when it comes to how you utilize the potential in Azure`s Infrastructure, Platform and Software-as-a-Service offerings since with focus on how you get the most out of cloud born software projects to how you develop a strategy and plan for migrating whole or parts of LOB solutions. With a mixed co-existence between on premise data centers and cloud platform through hybrid connections.

Even though the cloud offers the power of the data center to everyone, it can be a bit overwhelming when starting to look at it. My place is to help navigate through this from both a business point of view down to technology and implementation.

Throughout my career I have had the opportunity to participate in a wide range of projects and I have a deep passion for transforming ideas into solutions and applications, which solve real world needs. Software and solutions that simplifies the day to day life both in personal and professional life.

I think it truly is a privilege to be able to work with something I consider to be so much a hobby and favorite activity.

And after the kids are put to bed in the evening, it is time to start up Visual Studio and learn some more. Since the announcement of Azure Service Fabric at Build in April 2015 the platform still amazes me with it’s power and potential. It’s made programming fun again.

.NET C# and .NET

Software development using Visual Studio IDE with C#. Once a "die-hard" coder that started out with C# version 1.0, later solution architect with focus on .NET and Microsoft technologies, now keeping up with the development of the C# language and .NET runtime while researching or testing concepts, building PoC`s for patterns and practices or for pure fun.
