IMPACT! Social Enterprise provides young people with the skills, knowledge and resources they need to create real change in their communities. IMPACT Ambassadors are launching a generation of young innovators who dream big, create change and impact the future. We run programs that support and upskill young entrepreneurs as they enter the social enterprise space.

IMPACT! Ambassadors are passionate and creative young people in Queensland, who are active in promoting the events and opportunities that IMPACT offers for young people to universities and organisations.

My Role:

  • Promote IMPACT! and IMPACT!-affiliated events as a social media activator and in an offline capacity, particularly on the University of Queensland - St Lucia campus.
  • Act as a mentor and leader at IMPACT! events and assist with the development of information sessions and skill development activities.
  • Develop new opportunities and partnerships for the IMPACT! program.

Key Achievements:

  • Playing a role in bringing the Tedx initiative to UQ (TedxUQ) and integrating IMPACT! with this event.
  • Contributing and presenting an idea at the networking event - "Social Media and Mobile Apps Role in Increasing Civic Engagement and Action in Youth Culture"
