After being promoted from Senior IT to IT Coordinator, more responsibilities and duties were assigned to me in this position. I became in charge along with the IT department manager and finance manager in planning the yearly budget for the IT department as well as drawing the road map for the new and upcoming projects., and some of these projects are:
Creating new Microsoft infrastructure project under the ENI S.p.A. umbrella in collaboration with HP and Microsoft
CISCO Unified Computing System under the ENI S.P.A umbrella in collaboration with Dimension Data Italy and Cisco Libya
Motorola UHF two way radio system on gas station complex
Full mesh vista project for three sites MGCS and Tripoli, Gela

Manage outsourced service provider resources who are accessing the data centre and other facilitates (wiring closets) remotely or accessing directly Work with the outsourced service provider to conduct planning for patches, ongoing administration, reboots, setup etc. Ensure that all network product acquisitions are aligned to overall architecture and security standards Work with the outsourcer to do ongoing planning for the following: Capacity planning for LAN and WAN Service level, network continuity, network availability Work with ENI Network Operations Centre resource to keep track of Greenstream Libya network performance Document issues and identify trends Participate in problem management Work with service providers to identify solutions for addressing performance or reliability issues Through ICT Manager , work with the ENI business to understand future requirements, challenges and opportunities Responsible for building out a longer term strategy for Greenstream BV data network infrastructure at ENI – product acquisitions, pilot projects, standards development etc. Work with the vendor management office to plan for requirements of the outsourcer and suppliers Assist in the development of an annual budget and longer term financial plan Work with Supply Chain to formally request acquisition of new hardware, execute, evaluate supplier
