In addition to my Technical Recruiter responsibilities, I do the following:
- Facilitate weekly one-on-one meetings with each recruiter to discuss successes, challenges, best practices, disseminate company information, maintain morale.
- Championed and scheduled SmartIT recruiter representation at two IT user groups in the Indianapolis area in order to increase SmartIT exposure to the market and create brand awareness.
- New recruiter training
- Monthly recruiter meetings - train, challenge, vent, promote teamwork
- Assign new jobs to recruiters and manage/adjust workload accordingly
- Act as sounding board for Indy recruiting team and offer suggestions for searches, unique places to source for candidates, etc.
- Recruitment team training - Boolean search techniques, social media, candidate newsletter template, ATS [Sendouts]
- Lead daily call with Account Executives to establish priorities for the day
- Searched for, interviewed, and made recommendations on new recruiter hires in 2013
