  • Yearly enrollment of more than 365 students in preschool ~ fifth grade, 35% free and reduced population
  • Managed roughly 60 staff members each year
  • Directed Special Education, Curriculum, Instruction, Title 1, Technology, and ELL services
  • Third ~ fifth grade classes have improved in reading proficiency from 84% to 90% on Iowa Tests of Basic Skills
  • Implemented school-wide Instructional Decision Making (IDM) model to ensure continuous improvement in reading
  • Implemented school-wide Positive Behavior Supports (PBS) to enhance social, emotional, and behavioral success
  • Enhanced professional development with the transition from traditional model to Professional Learning Communities (PLC)
  • Created monthly iMovies to post on school website that demonstrated to parents and community great things going on in the school
