Supported a nurturing and engaging environment for four children ages 2 through 9 in a home setting in northern Chester County, PA.   Assisted a convelesing mother  with childcare, housework and a host of daily activities while inspiring, engaging and delighting the children in my care.


Classroom Teacher 

Children of America, Inc.

Responsible for a classroom of 30 students in a large-scale daycare center in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.  Created and implemented standards-based lessons and performed regular assessments of student progress.  Facilitated positive classroom behavior and established an environment conducive to student success.  Implemented a variety of interventions to meet the needs of  students with a variety learning differences.


PA Pre-K Counts Teacher 

Kindercare, Inc. 

Responsible for a  classroom of  20 students funded by the state Pre-K Counts grant designed to promote greater access to rigorous Pre-K programming among underserved populations.  Organized and implemented parent workshops and make and take project events, as well as childcare for these events.


Empowering Peer Educator

The Millersville University Women's Center

Supported the growth and empowerment of female students at Millersville University by organizing presentations, social events, and workshops addressing issues affecting women in the larger culture.  Promoted self-advocacy, political engagement, and feminism throughout the Millersville student body.  Baked and sold vagina cookies to raise money for the Vagina Monologues,  and passed out free condoms and lube to encourage student interest in the women's center.
