Resident

During my rotation in Coronary Care Unit, I acquired valuable experience in the management of critically ill and hemodynamically unstable patients. I became confident in the optimal management of patients with acute coronary syndromes, cardiogenic shock, arrhythmias, and other severe cardiovascular diseases. I performed several invasive procedures including central venous line, arterial line, Swanz-Ganz catheter, endotracheal tube, transvenous temporary pacemaker, chest tube, and pericardiocentesis. I also assisted in the insertion of Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) on multiple occasions. I also became able to read complex ECGs and comfortable with interpreting hemodynamic data and implicate them in practice.
