Production Crew

Special Olympics

I am hired annually every August by the Special Olympics to put on their famous The Bite of Oregon event down on the Downtown Portland Waterfront.

Here I, accompanied by a massive production crew, raise from the ground a food and wine festival that stretches from the Morrison bridge to the Salmon Street Spring. Here I am tasked with production, distribution and managing of beverages and other deliverables to vendors throughout the event, as well as being responsible for tear down.

North American Organic Brewers Festival

I am hired annually by the NAOBF every June to put on the largest All  organic brewers festival in the world up at Overlook Park in North Portland.

At this festival the production crew consists of myself and two others, this event being considerably smaller than most other events I work. Here I am tasked with production, distribution of ice to vendors and the beer trucks throughout the event.

I also co-manage the beer lines, instal beer lines, restock beer lines and clear beer lines.

Responsible for  tear down of the event at the end.

Production Crew/Brew Hand

Oregon Brewers Festival

I am hired annually by the OBF every June before the NAOBF to put on the largest  brewers festival in Oregon down on Portland's Downtown Waterfront.

The production is small but has more time to set up, so we are quite capable of setting up this massive event  with less than 10 members.  This event being considerably Large, takes up the waterfront from Pine street to the Morrison Bridge.

Here I am tasked with the general  production and also the managing, installing, restocking, and clearing of beer lines.

Also I  tear down the event at the end.

Production Crew/Stage Hand/Vendor Upkeep

The Rose Festival

Last year the Rose Festival Organization came under new management who decided to hire new management for the production of their annual festival of the water front. Spring 2014 I was hand picked to be on the production crew for the biggest production in Portland, amongst many veterans in the industry.

Here I set up the event which stretches from Ash St. to Salmon St. , during the event I am tasked with checking up on each of the four sections of the festival ensuring no signs, banners, or lights are askew or that any vendor is in turmoil.

Before each of the nightly Live music performances I scan the Rozone for  any hindrances as well.

During these shows I work as a stagehand setting up and switching out band equipment, audio lines and power chords.

Every Night during the show I go out the waterfront avenue and turn on street lights then upon close I close up all the vendors booths and barricade off each section of the fest.
