Melltoo is a social mobile marketplace for second-hand merchandise in the UAE. Melltoo has evolved in a year from a mobile classifieds to a fully-fetched m-commerce company with transactions and logistics management. 

I engineered my job role in the company from content writing and cold sales to managing several new sides of the business such as the user development(customer services, survey and analysis), data analysis (crunching data for our reward program), email marketing and website copy. 

+100 user requests, transaction disputes (via email, mobile chat, social) daily

Created Melltoo's drip email campaign, wrote copy for 80% of our email newsletters

Drafted Melltoo's updated T's and C's

Contributed to building a functioning company (I was the 2nd employee)

Media Consultant

Free Press Unlimited (FPU)

This is a contractual position to support FPU's Story Makers project. FPU is a leading media NGO that focuses on freedom of expression in conflict zones.

My job is to liaise with FPU's partners in the project target countries (Morocco, Iraq, Tunisia and Egypt) on training and follow up logistics.

Created which highlights the media production of 2 years of journalism training funded by FPU

Curated content from the project's target countries and translated it from Arabic to English.

iChanical is an IT-sourcing company in Dubai. (DiY robot kit) is a product of iChanical Tech LLC.

Created iChanical and Junkbot's blogs. I wrote +30 articles and generated 18,350 clicks to both websites.
