Comdisco Holding Company – Consultant (2004 – 2005)

Performed financial analysis and accounting services for Chief Legal Officer and Litigation trustee.

Comdisco Ventures - Chief Financial Officer & Chief Administration Officer (2002 –2004)

Reported to President & CEO of Comdisco Ventures, a $800 million division of Comdisco, Inc, and directed staff of eight people.

·Key role in creating and implementing the Plan of liquidation for Comdisco Ventures and in leading the Ventures’ team to significantly exceed that Plan (110% achievement).

·Managed and continually improved the financial reporting and cash flow forecasting process and coordinated this process with Corporate, while downsizing the operations.

·Organized and re-established the financial and administrative (back-room) areas of the business unit in Rosemont, San Francisco and Boston, eventually consolidating to Rosemont.

·Managed private and public equity and warrant portfolio of about 250 companies valued at over $30 million.

·Led special projects related primarily to the Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing, both pre- and post-filing.Presented to Board of Directors, Creditors Committee, Equity Committee and potential buyers.

·Managed complex projects related to the estate maximization through business unit divestitures, including the negotiation of purchase terms, interaction with potential buyers, organization and management of the data rooms in several cities throughout the world (Rosemont, Barcelona, London, Munich, Paris, Sydney), and post-sale transition to purchasers. Took the lead role for divestitures in Barcelona, Munich and Sydney.
