I'm an education professional inspired by the intersection between learning and technology. In my current position, I work to open communication and increase interaction between online students and their instructors via synchronous and asynchronous digital media tools. I am also responsible for all campus digital presences, and am currently working to create a new, user-friendly and interactive site to attract new students and provide resources to existing students. I also work to educate online faculty on how to use social media in the classroom. Community outreach is another of my responsibilities, and recent projects include the Seeds of Change summer teen work program, a project-based, digital literacy initiative. Other current projects include a partnership with Beaver Street Enterprise Center, a local small business incubator, to provide a series of workshops on the use of social media in the business environment.
