HIGHLIGHTS OF PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

IT Management

  • Currently serve as the IT Manager supporting three sites.

  • Lead multiple roles including System and Network Administrator, Help Desk Technician and Client/PC Device Administrator. Provide support for multi-site and remote end-users.

  • Instrumental in managing all configurations, updating, licensing and maintenance of client PCs, servers, switches, firewalls and printers. Perform ongoing hardware and software maintenance. Manage inventory and purchasing.

    Accomplishments

  • Promoted from Technician to Manager with increased responsibilities and entrusted as the sole person to manage all sites.

  • Stabilized a previous unstable network environment and significantly enhanced Wi-Fi reliability, software installations and system security. Resolved intermittent, hardware issues as well.

Data Center System Administration & Network Operations

  • Configured end-user devices and pushed notifications for all data center systems for the NTUA.
  • Performed system analysis, quality control and monitoring for a Tier 2/3 network.
  • Wrote and implemented technical documents and developed a knowledge resource base NOC web-portal.
  • Previously served as a NOC Support Specialist and liaison for several DoD client companies of Northrop Grumman. Provided mission-critical data and technical/non-technical feedback.
  • Served as the key point of contact for scheduling training, engineering, maintenance and network events.
  • Led training and support for the U.S. Army Simulation Warfighter Focus-Warrior Training Alliance events.

  • Acted as Team Chief and supervised operations and team members. Led installations, operation, diagnostics and repair of multichannel line-of-site and tropospheric scatter radio communications systems, digital and analog electronics, fiber optics/coax.
