Technical Program Manager
Heading up the end-to-end IT delivery of projects; worth £0.5 to 8 million that impact the strategic Virgin Media provisioning platform. This platform plays a key role for provisioning all the Virgin Media Broadband and Digital TV customer data.
I have successfully overseen the delivery of the following projects on time, budget and quality:

·Putting together the virtual teams with members from architecture, design, development, test and support teams
·Clarifying the customer requirements and assessing the associated IT effort
·Ensuring that all technical deliverables are monitored, tracked, reported against project scope, timelines and cost
·Aligning the technology solution with the business requirements, specifications and Key Performance Indicators
·Working closely with the operations teams to ensure that the agreed level of operational handover documentation is produced and effective knowledge transfer takes place
·Acting as the point of coordination to ensure requirements for the integration test environment with the validation team
I have also been managing the pipeline of new project requests from the commercial teams.

The Nortel HLR product is a mission critical Wireless Core Network element with 99.999% uptime reliability.
The HLR product runs on the Advanced Telecom Computing Architecture (ATCA) platform and it is a fundamental component of any Wireless voice core solution and Nortel’s "all-IP" based HLR provides for a very high speed and single point of provisioning through the application of a dedicated Data Server.
As part of the Nortel Home Location Register (HLR) project, I created and carried out a project management consultancy role to IBM India.
I supervised IBM India design team on:
·the transition of project ownership to India
·project planning and estimation
·setting up the team structures
·team's readiness analysis for project ownership
·Identifying and planning face-to-face training requirements
