As Managing Member of TreeTop Development, LLC, Adam Mermelstein has been a driving force behind numerous residential redevelopment projects that have helped to rejuvenate communities in the greater New York City area. Since 2005, Adam Mermelstein and his firm have focused on the acquisition, renovation, and efficient management of previously undervalued multifamily rental properties in overlooked markets, contributing to the transformation of once-depressed urban areas into up-and-coming neighborhoods attractive to the middle class. Under the direction of Adam Mermelstein, TreeTop has accumulated an attractive portfolio that currently includes 17 properties, which have enriched the New York City boroughs of Brooklyn and the Bronx and New Jersey cities such as East Orange, Newark, Hoboken, and Jersey City. Headquartered in Newark, TreeTop has also supported the revitalization of its home city as a member of the Newark Regional Business Partnership, an organization dedicated to promoting economic prosperity in the region. Adam Mermelstein’s commitment to enhancing communities extends beyond his professional pursuits. He personally provides charitable support to many worthy causes benefitting local citizens, such as Integrity House; The Salvation Army; the Toys for Tots program; and Project Ezrah, a nonprofit that assists the unemployed and impoverished residents of Bergen County in New Jersey. Mermelstein also contributes to the Rofeh Cholim Cancer Society and promotes the development and education of Jewish youth as an Executive Board Member of Mevaseret Zion. Additionally, he is a supporter and former board member of the Rosenbaum Yeshiva of North Jersey and the SINAI Schools, which educate students with special needs.
