Managing the operation and engineering functions of the south terminal baggage handing teams. 24/7 Operations 365 days.

  • Co-ordinate use of CMMS and condition monitoring, identify improvements to maximise MTBF and minimise MTTR

Managed dispatch teams for steel product both nationally and globally utilising varied modes including container transport, road freight, rail and shipping

    Management of steel production facility (locomotive and carriage wheels) Heavy manufacturing environment working on quality critical product in a high hazard operation. Unionised manufacturing shop operating 24/7 364 days.

    Acting Plant manager

    Seconded into plant manager role during leave and project secondment of manager, identified as successor to the role. 300FTE, $120M operation.

    Production supervisor responsible for 15 operators in rodding section. Heavy industry environment, unionised workforce operating 24/7 - 356days.

    • Initiated TPM and operator maintenance programs, recognition of the success of these initiates prompted promotion into TPM superintendent position
    • Significant increase in predictive safety measures. Near miss reporting increase 500%. LTI free for 2 years

    Underground coal mine in the hunter valley, multiple positions held including.

    Manage shift teams of electrical and mechanical technicians.

    Project manage longwall moves.

    Apprentice electrician in an open cut mine, working with automotive, LV and HV systems, truck and shovel operation and coal plant.
