Gordon Gates, DDS MSD

Prosthodontic office with 5 Operatories, 1 Prosthodontists, 1 front office staff , 3 dental assistants and 1 hygienist.  The practice offers all types of crown, bridge and implant restorations, dentures, partials and fillings. We also work with many local Oral Surgeons and offer " All on 4 or 6"  immediate load same day fixed dentures.

This practice was extremely busy.  I felt very proud to have been a part of the team that assisted with such a highly respected dental professional as Dr. Gates.  I learned the most about implants at this office and the options patients have with them.  I really enjoy the patients especially.  Our patients are usually in full mouth reconstructions that cause them to be in our office multiple times before we complete the case.  Our patients become part of the family in a sense.  We know their life stories, the spouses and the kids.  We are involved in the day to day activities of their lives.  Its not unusual to get big hugs of gratitude from them when we complete their case and many times we change their lives with their new mouth.  I love that about my job.  I can't say enough good about Dr. Gates and the office I worked in and the fabulous people I worked with.

General Dentistry office with 7 operatories, 2 General Dentists, 3 front office staff, 4-5 Assistants and 2 Hygienists.  Practice included all areas of dentistry.  Fast Paced.

This was my first experience working in a Colorado dental practice.  The doctors and staff were very friendly and warm.  I learned so much at this office about multi-tasking.  The whole team worked well together and our focus was customer service.  We pride ourselves in patient comfort and anxiety control.  The friendly atmosphere made everyone at ease right away.

Rachelle Chaikin, DDS

General Dentistry office with 4 Operatories, 1 Dentist,  2 front desk staff , 3 Dental Assistants and 2 Hygienists.

This was the most unique experience for me because it was the first time I had the opportunity to work with a female dentist.  Our patients enjoyed the gentle touch of a woman dentist and her very kind spirit.  I enjoyed learning her unique style and being part of such a special team of woman.

Controller / Part time

McCarthy Homes Inc

My husband, Daniel McCarthy, and I started a custom home building company in Colorado.  We were a small company with 14 employees at our busiest years.  We also did custom home framing for our own homes and contracted out for other custom home builders.  I worked part time running the office along with working full time in the dental field.

What I really enjoyed about this position was the interaction with homeowners and helping them create the home of their dreams.  Seeing the home created from the design phase to the finished product was the most exciting challenge of running a company like this.  It was a wonderful experience.
