              -    Was approved by the Institutional Review Board (IRB) for conducting and completing research topic.

              -    Recruited 60 Pacific University Undergraduate students to participate in a fine motor skills test.

              -    Created computer program through SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) designed                           to track information and data relevant to the research topic. 

              -    Preformed repeated measures ANOVA's for dependent variables to determine differences in                                     research results.

Andrea Cox is a student at The University of Alabama's Didactic Program in Dietetics and is working on becoming a Registered Dietitian. She completed her Bachelors' Degree in Exercise Science with an emphasis in Integrated Physiology in 2007 at Pacific University of Oregon.


Short Term Goals:

    -  Focused on completing The University of Alabama's Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD).

    -  Begin to shadow a Registered Dietitian (RD) in a clinical setting in order to learn the field.

    -  After completion of the DPD,obtain a Dietetic Internship, sit for the Registered Dietitian exam and upon completion become an RD.

-Become a Licensed Dietitian in the state of Oregon in order to practice in Oregon.

Long Term Goals:

-  Become a practicing Clinical Registered Dietitian.

-  Join the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics as an RD.

    -  Expand my certifications through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics to include my various interests.
