Engineers Without Borders, Cal Poly Pomona

Field Engineer Volunteer

Built a model, 5-foot diameter ferro-cement tank at Cal Poly Pomona for practice and safety review as proposed for the community of San Lorenzo, Guatemala.

Assembled a 25-foot diameter ferro-cement tank in the field at San Lorenzo, Guatemala.

Received Recognition Award for Outstanding Member from out of 70 members. 

Assistant Engineer

San Fernando Valley Green Team

Analyzed electric utility bills for electricity usage and solar energy generation for a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Platinum building.

Prepared summary report to be used in evaluating reductions in energy usage and cost savings.

Manufacturing Technician II


Completing the critical process monitoring and trouble-shooting of minor problem include measuring devices to make product/process quality decisions.

Presenting support to Manufacturing operators including make decision on product acceptability.

Following department safety procures that conduct cGMP audits of department areas.

Performing the operations consist of: additions, alcohols/buffer/solution make up, manual sight glass reading from stationary tanks, precipitate and paste collection from Westfalias, Centrifugation, and filter press.

Work in a cold, wet environment, lift/push/pull/carry up to 50 lbs, and climb up and into large processing tanks for cleaning/checking.

ACADEMIC PROJECT   Villa Savoye by Le Corbusier, Architectural Rendering Project, 9/2011 - 12/2011   • Creating a 3D model of a building and renderings by a notable architect (Villa Savoye) with color, materials and shadows by using AutoCAD.   LA Sheriff’s Training Facility, Senior Project, 3/2010 - 12/201   • Assisted with the design of a new modern facility with team of 10 in compliance with ASCE codes and LEED Gold Standard.   • Analyses in structural and architectural aspects of two different systems; Conventional Moment Framing System and ConXtech System utilizing 3D models, generated models through ETABS, AutoCad, and Revit.
