Instructional Designer / OSHA Safety Analyst

  • Developed and administered interactive training programs: programmed interactions and created graphics for pilots and others company-wide; distributed via CD, intranet, LMS and classroom training.
  • Worked directly with printing companies: Designed booklets and brochures for four-color printing, including die-cut and embossing. Also hand crafted professional quality displays, exhibits and booklets using traditional materials.
  • Managed graphics Interns: Assigned daily tasks and monitored work progress and quality. Provided professional mentoring and design guidance.
  • Saved the company thousands of dollars: Developed a series of Flight Simulation approach modules for pilots using free Google Earth software and scripting language similar to systems costing thousands from retail companies. My modules allowed pilots to visualize an airport approach in 3D with an air route map overlaying nearby terrain.
  • Certified OSHA Safety Analyst: Assumed OSHA Safety Analyst role in addition to my other duties, completing the OSHA 511 and 30 hour courses, becoming familiar with OSHA regulations and performing safety inspections. Also performed hearing tests for the company as a Certified Occupational Hearing Conservationist.
