A bit about me

As you can see by my profile, along with the knowledge and drive to excel in my career, I do have a lighter side that I like to show through.

I have a great ablity to learn quickly, as well as a desire to be the best I can be in any given situation, but I also like to enjoy myself when the time is right. 

In essense, I am a model employee who will get the job done correctly and as quickly as possible, but not someone who doesn't know when to take a lighter look at things on occasion.

I often have been complemented by employees and coworkers alike that this ability makes me a joy to work with, and helps the team work to their level best.

My Goal

With my twelve years of Telecommunications engineering and administration experience, I have acquired a vast knowledge of Nortel and Avaya PBX and Cisco VoIP solutions which makes me an asset to any company with a need for a strong telecommunications analyst.

 In addition to holding a certification in Nortel PBX, I have installed, maintained and programmed various PBX systems. I have spent time investigating cost cutting features and new applications as well as trained and written documentation for implementing and maintaining new systems.  This knowledge would allow me to boost profitability and reduce down time for the company and their clients.


Apart from being a pround father of three wonderful children, I am an avid musician (drums), enjoy photography and mountain biking.

I have often been asked to photograph events for various organizations as well as friends and family.






Yes, that does indeed say Clown.  I learned to juggle when I was twelve years old and from there I fell in love with the idea of being a professional clown. I carried this idea through to college where I was a member of the Gamma Phi Circus for a short time as well as attending tryouts for the "Ringling Brothers Clown College" in Wisconsin.  I changed my mind on going when I came to the realization that 5 years on the road with the circus is a very long, and very hard life. Something I hope I will not regret.
PC Tech Support
Prior to my becoming fully ingrained in the telecommunications side of the IT world, I was trained as a PC support tech for a local company. In this aspect I learned the ins and outs of installing software, replacing hardware and basic adminsitration of the network system.  Skills that I still use in my telecommunications career, but a bit less than before, hence my choosing "3-4" years for last used.
Bicycle repair
As an avid cyclist since high school, one of my years in retail I was working for a sporting goods company building and repairing bicycles.  I still do work on my on on a regular basis as well as ofering my talents to friends, neighbors and relatives who need repairs, advise or a new bike built.
Having studied photography/photo journalism in college, I am often asked to photograph various events ranging from the "family reunion" snaps to church group events and summer stock theater productions. I still enjoy taking out my camera and shooting for the fun and beauty of it.
While not on par with the likes of Keith Moon, Neil Purt and Phil Collins, I've been playing for over 20 years and have been part of many bands over the years.  Perhaps "Wannabe Rockstar" would be more fitting, but that wasn't an option, so I went with the next best thing.
