  Personal Statement

"A confident and passionate teacher with over six years' experience gained within both state and private secondary school environments. Having relocated to the North West, I am now seeking a new teaching appointment within the field of photography, film and/or media. Having worked in London for nine years as a freelance photographer, I have unrivalled experience of music, lifestyle, editorial, interiors, advertorial and fashion photography. I am passionate about sharing this knowledge with my students in order to develop their knowledge of the subject."

Responsibility for leading a team of teachers in supporting the academic and pastoral development of students across responsibilities including analysis of data, developing projects to ensure progression to aspirational targets, close monitoring of staff to ensure that targets are being met;

Pastoral support and a close working relationship with parents and subject leaders making positive communication is present at all times.

Working with pupils and ensuring that school policy is followed at all times and that all actions are in the best interests of the pupil and their particular issues.

Involved in the Curriculum-Development of the community, use of the site through adult lessons based at the school in the evenings and holidays-running evening adult photography courses and students courses during the holidays.

Subject Leader of Media, Film and Photography department-resonsible for the SEF, action plan, results, targets, analysis of data, and monitoring of students progression, liasing with management, parents, students, opening/parent/option evenings, outside workplaces to engage with the students.

With various projects working with a range of external agencies. Photgraphy use of Photoshop, B/W darkroom, digital cameras, Photoshop and film cameras. Film Adobe Premiere, Final Cut and digital video cameras Canon and Nikon.
