I worked on an enterprise product called Network Security Platform(NSP) which is a part of Network Security Business Unit. NSP is basically a Network based Intrusion Prevention System(IPS).My role in the team was that of an embedded system developer.
Project Title: Web Service Clustering, Tagging and Composition

Project Description: By extracting features from the WSDL and OWL-S documents, similarities between web services are obtained and web services are clustered by hierarchical clustering. Tags are generated for a web service from the tags of other services in the same cluster or from their WSDL or OWL-S documents. These tags help in greatly reducing the number of web services considered for service composition for a service request. Composite services are discovered by a search algorithm in AND/OR graph which captures the input output dependencies among the services.

Project Description: Educational Solutions for the Visually Impaired funded by IEEE under the Engineering Projects in Community Service (EPICS), involves developing assistive technologies to empower students in blind schools in Mangalore. The project has also spread to other blind schools in other cities in India. As a project developer, my responsibilities included interacting with the client for identifying requirements, software design, development and user testing. My project Illuminate Quiz is a learning aid for the visually impaired students.

Project Description: The Online DASA(Direct Admission for Students Abroad) Application is designed to run online and allow a wide range of the public who stay abroad to apply for the NITs based on the SAT scores and the high-school grades. We used reverse software engineering techniques to test, document and improve the DASA portal.

Project Description: This project was done as a part of undergraduate Major Project. In this project,we systematically analysed some of the security architectures for WSN's and chose TinySec and TinyECC for performance evaluation based on several significant metrics such as support, cost, code requirement. We also proposed an efficient key management technique based on bivariate polynomial and localization techniques.

Project Description: This project was done as a part of VI Semester Curriculum under Information Assurance and Security. It involved getting an in-depth knowledge about the various buffer overflow vulnerabilities like the stack overflow, heap overflow. We developed a war gaming site like the smashthestack.io which would serve as a hands on tutorial for learning buffer overflow vulnerability.
