Supplemental instructor for Electrical Circuit Analysis II

http://www.ncat.edu
  • Responsible for answering student’s questions on Electrical Circuit Analysis.
  • Assigning students in class problems to complete and discus with them if they didn’t get the right answer in order to help them to find out what went wrong.
  • Grading the in class problems and identify areas for improvement.
Jun 2008 - Aug 2008

Researcher/Internship (SROP-2008)

Penn State University
  • Participated in geophysical experiment research that utilized signal processing and it was funded by Penn State, NCA&T, and AfricanArray.
  • Traveled to South Africa and practiced as geophysics’ consultant to Anglo Platinum by collecting, processing, and analyzing seismic data then generating a model using computer software to be utilized for the expansion of the platinum mining in the Bushveld Complex of South Africa.
  • The experiment was to image the subsurface structure of Bushveld Complex in terms of faults, dykes, and depth to the bedrock.
  • The signal processing that was used is seismic refraction methods and magnetic, gravity, and electrical resistivity methods were also used to collect & process data.
Jun 2007 - May 2008

Research assistant

North Carolina A&T University funded by N.O.A.A
  • Participated in seismic signal research in Ethiopia that was founded by N.O.A.A.
  • The signal processing was done by utilizing Seismic Activity Code.
  • Produced weekly reports based on various assigned reading materials.
  • Completed and exceeded in a course outside of my major discipline.
