Having 07 Year Experience at AMMONIA PLANT as a process plant operator in (AGRI TECH LIMITED) formerly Pak American Fertilizers Limited Iskanderabad Mianwali.

PAFL was a subsidiary of state owned NFC which was privatized in July 2006, consist of 750 MTPD Ammonia Designed by M.W Kellogg & 1300 MTPD Urea Designed By TOYO Eng. Corp. Company is well reputed & ISO certified (9000 &14001) & (OHSAS-18001).company following all international safety, environmental and quality standards, Plant control system is based on Honeywell (TDC-3000X) Distributive control system (DCS) M/S TOYO ENGINEERING Corporation of Japan was main engineering contractor. The plant was successfully put into production in 1998.

POST DETAIL

 CO2 REMOVAL POST:

 

Now I am working at CO2 removal section by aMDEA solution of Ammonia plant. CO2 removal by absorption and stripping columns equipped with Paul ring beds and arranged packing, semi lean flash drum, rich solution flash vessel and Re-boilers with aMDEA absorbent. I have worked on the following equipments;

ERECTION AND COMMISSIONING:

I have also worked as commissioning team member in Pak-American fertilizer Capacity Enhancement project (PACE 125 %), in which plant capacity increased from 100 % to 135 %. Ammonia production increased from 600 to 750 MTPD and Urea production increased to 1325 MTPD.

During this project, I have worked with MHI (Mitsubishi Heavy Industries) Japan team and successfully completed the erection and commissioning of two heavy duty turbo driven centrifugal compressors.

  • Synthesis gas compressor along with condensing steam turbine

Pre-Commissioning ;

  • Line checking with P&IDs, Isometric Drawing & Piping Plans Sheets
  • Air blowing of lines.
  • Steam Blowing of high-pressure equipment and lines.
  • Oil flashing of Control oil and lube oil Circuits
  • Chemical cleaning of the respective equipment.

 Commissioning ;

  • Instrument loop checking and interlocking Logics tests
  • Initial startup of Compressor & Pumps
  • Solo running test of rotary Equipment
  • Trouble shooting plant problems & Safe handling of   equipment

Reporting to the Shift Engineer as Operator my job responsibilities are as follows

 

  • Maintaining the record of plant operating parameters
  • Keep plant safe & smooth
  • Handle plant maintenance & modification activities
  • Check levels, temperature, machinery & leakage time to time
  • Face the plant Start-up & Shutdown activities
  • Handling emergencies during plant operation
  • To control plant maintenance under the safety environment.
  • Smooth operation of plant by adjusting the process control variable according to SOP
