Site QA/QC Manager

  • Implementation and maintain of the Project Quality Plan.
  • Liaison with the Company Representatives and the third party inspectorate in quality related matters, identifying and advising on the resolution of non-conformity, ensuring the calibration of inspection equipment, and ensuring that quality records of MASCO are maintained.
  • Ensure that the Project Quality Plan is understood, implemented and Maintain at all levels of the Organization.
  • Coordinate all the quality site inspections through the QC engineers/inspectors.

  • Ensure that the Project Quality Plan (PQP) is understood, implemented and maintained at all levels of the organization.
  • Maintain Quality Management System (QMS), Quality Assurance Policy, and Manuals, Procedures and ITP and monitoring its proper implementation, raising and development requirements.
  • Establish proposed work plan and direct QA/QC Engineers to ensure proper execution in terms of quality and reliability.
  • Site visits and/or Conduct inspections to ensure quality of work are in compliance with contract requirements, good construction practice, only approved materials are used, compliance with contract requirements.
  • Review Sub-Contractors Quality Policy, Manual, Procedures and ITP, and monitoring its proper implementation and effective maintaining via contract requirements.
  • Cooperate for final resolution of any Non conformity (NCR) with concerned responsible.
  • Responsible and maintain Quality records, supervises the processing of data and prepares test and inspection reports.
  • Review transmittal logs and schedules, monitor the status, request corrective actions where deviations are taken place from planed dates, to avoid and prevent delays in production due to lake of information and approvals, and releasing quality certification.
  • Provide QA/QC Manager with periodic and progress reports and keep QA/QC Manager abreast of all developments affecting work status.
  • Issue/Follow up on reserve list (M0) with SPM, Subcontractor and the Maintenance Division to ensure the lifting of valid point.
  • Carry out daily inspections as per the relevant ITP and specification requirement. Ensure quality, safety and construct-ability aspects are met.
  • Make sure that any activity going on site has an approved Shop Drawing (SD), Method Statement (MS), Material Submittal Sheet (MSS), Quality Control Procedure (QCP) and Inspection & Test Plan (ITP).
  • Follow site activities daily to ensure quality of work is in compliance with contract requirements, good construction practice, only approved materials are used, compliance with shop drawing and make sure that all materials used comply with the approved Material Submittal Sheet (MSS).
  • All site activities must be inspected through an official Request for Inspection (RFI) or witnessed as per relevant ITP.
  • Inspection status shall be recorded on daily basis in the RFI and any relevant check sheet as per the approved QCP.
  • Coordinate and Verify with Independent Testing Laboratory (ITL) that all relevant tests conducted and result reports are complying with the project requirements.
  • Report any deviation from the specification requirements such as SD, MSS, MS, QCP and ITP.
  • Ensure that the latest revisions of the approved SD, MS, QCP and ITP are at the point of use.
  • Monitor concrete pours and check continuously concrete materials delivered to site and/or batch plant, ensure compliance with QCP, and ensure all needed tests are carried out as per contract requirements.
  • Raise a Non-Conformance Report (NCR) for any non-conformity occurred during the construction cycle, Corrective Action Report (CAR) and Preventive Action Report (PAR) when needed.
  • Ensure that all the equipment’s in use are calibrated periodically and keep records.
  • All Quality records must be controlled, identified, stored, available to retrieve as needed and protected.
  • Records the As-Built information on drawings and make sure that all site conditions are properly addressed.

  • Review contract specifications and drawings, identify product criteria and prepare required check lists for inspection and testing.
  • Conduct daily site inspections/walk through to monitor work in progress for compliance with specifications and design/shop drawings, report any non-compliance using ACC standard procedures to QA/QC Manager for necessary actions. Aim for defect/non-compliance free product.
  • Receive and log request for inspection and process through during the same day. Coordinate and perform inspections and test activities in accordance with relevant inspection test plan, ensure that completed works is conformant and ready for final inspection by consultant.
  • Monitor status of inspections and follow–up on actions for re–submission, ensuring all required actions are completed prior to re-submission.
  • Receiving inspections and testing of concrete and coordination with test laboratory for sampling. Monitor and the quality of concrete received and report to QA/QC Manager and construction manager any deviations from specified requirement.
  • Perform materials receiving inspection/test to verify compliance with the requirements of specification and/or approved submittal. Report non-compliance via the use of receiving inspections report.
  • Monitor and check revision status of drawings used on site by construction team including subcontractors, to ensure that no superseded drawings are at point of use.
  • Monitor storage area and take necessary action to prevent damage. Report un-acceptable practices to QA/QC Manager.
  • Maintain quality records specified by relevant inspection test plans and contract documents. Ensure all original copies of records are handed over to Document & Data Controller.
  • During the construction life cycle, perform the above duties to ensure that 95% of inspections passed first time and prevent product defect.
