Production Manager

SMC is one of the leading companies in Pakistan in manufacturing of Crown Corks, Caps, Flavors and Fragrances for beverages and pharmaceuticals, I joined the company as assistant production manager and after four months of performance and hard work I was promoted as Production Manager


1- Scheduling production on all Production lines

2- Train supervisors and machine operators on new CNC plants

3- Working for new business projects, installations and its implementation efficiently

4- Liaising with Sales & Distribution department and organize production according to demands

5- Make sure, that all the machinery is in good working condition with the help of Maintenance Manager, and do contingency planning for any forthcoming incident

6- Managing shifts of production team with the help of HR Department

7- Scheduling the inspection of Foreign team for annual maintenance as per company's Agreement with supplier

8- Visit customer plants to check the performance of our products on their machines i.e. Pepsico Inc. franchises, Shezan International etc. and give technical support regarding their bottling plants

9- Liaising with QC department to keep the high standards of our products and sort out problems if any

10- Arrange annual ISO inspection of the Production Department and make sure that the system is implemented as per ISO standards

11- Liaising with Material Management Department to keep up-to date with the position of raw material

12- Arrange Schedule discussions with HR to improve staff performance by implementing performance and achievement bonuses


1- Got training from Italy (Sacmi) on PLC, Maintenance of CNC plants, Enhance production process and operations control by foreign professionals

2- Awarded with several bonuses on achieving production targets and meeting tight deadlines

3- With the help of top management, our production department several times came up with new production ideas and implemented them in a good professional way for our suppliers for their promotional schemes

4- Highly appreciated by PEPSICO Inc, to achieve their high standards on Cash Price Schemes in fool proof and secure environment and achieve production targets before their deadlines

5- Productively started Injection molding machines and Plastics business

6- Successfully completed supplier approval procedure of Coca Cola and got approval of Coca Cola package & material authrization for the company.

1- To trade the accounts of clients in such a way that they get maximum profits with least risk according to my analysis of market by using Reuters Technical Analysis system
