I want to get out into the networking world to broaden my horizons and maybe meet people interested in my field.

I grew up working for my Father at Panhandle Greenhouses. I knew that was what I wanted to do when I was 17 and have been really learning the business ever since. I started out at the bottom just doing anything I could do and today I am one of the leading employees in selling plants and customer satisfaction. I have plans to expand the business in Amarillo, Tx and maybe further out to surrounding towns in the Texas Panhandle.

I love helping people plan out flower beds and get their yards up and growing.

I have a vast interest in quilting and started learning when I was 15.  Since then I have made countless quilts, sleeping bags, and purses.

I love playing in the dirt! I like getting out in the garden and making things grow.

Employee/General Manager

Panhandle Greenhouses

Panhandle Greenhouses is a business dedicated to providing quality plants and fertilizers to its consumers. My father owns it and I am working to learn the aspects of both the business and horticulture aspects with plans to take it over.

We specialize in growing and selling bedding plants.  We also sell a large supply in pond supplies and fertilizers.

Intern in OB/GYN Dept.

Texas Tech School of Medicine

Internship to high school students interested in the medical field specifically research aspects of a particular field. I worked on a study in the OB/GYN Department on a study about abnormal urinary tract infections in pregnant women. I presented presentations to patients about what the study was about to see if they were interested. I was one of the youngest interns there.

Here is a link to an article that talks about what I did.
