Aarohi Ambardekar

A member of the American Society of Anesthesiology and the Maryland State Anesthesiology Association, Dr. Aarohi Ambardekar has treated patients through Southern Maryland Anesthesia Associates, LLC, for more than a decade. His duties with this Lanham-based medical organization are to provide safe and appropriate sedation and anesthesia to patients while attending to their related medical needs before, during, and after surgery. In addition to working directly with patients, Dr. Aarohi Ambardekar has educated his fellow medical professionals through a grand rounds presentation on anesthesia considerations in patients with end-stage renal disease and a hospital presentation on intravenous anesthetics.

Before joining Southern Maryland Anesthesia Associates in 2005, Dr. Aarohi Ambardekar served an advanced-clinical-track anesthesia residency with SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. He also completed a preliminary internal medicine internship with MedStar Franklin Square Hospital in Baltimore County, Maryland. Dr. Ambardekar received his medical degree from the Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Vallejo, California.
