Total Compensation Analyst

The Port of Seattle

The purpose of this job is to provide compensation support to the HR&D department as well as Port-wide on matters concerning compensation issues, job evaluations, pay implications, Pay-for-Performance (PREP's), Union Contract pay changes and support to the Benefits team. This job also ensures that we participate in the appropriate salary surveys, market pricing and administration of the Port's compensation philosophy and the Salary & Benefit Resolution.

As a Designated School Official (DSO) and and International Student immigration adviser, I ensured that our international student applicants had the appropriate application materials and then issued a Form I-20 so that they could apply for their F-1 student visa. I processed admissions and implemented SEVIS reporting requirements as required by Homeland Security. I directed and organized the International Association, a student-government sponsored club that fostered leadership training and team dynamics. Coordinated international short-term ESL programs, International student orientations and group activities.
