COMMUNICATION AND MANAGEMENT SKILLS

I have had several of communication and management courses during my working experience via the company workshop,training sessions and conferences certificates as per the attachments. I have obtained such valuable certificates and academic hours beside my MBA certificate particularly in management skills and communication from respective university such as Licon university. I obtained two courses, one in Management Skills Training and the other one in Business Communication Skills. In additional I attended and obtained The Manager & Supervision Conference which cover most of the issue that the manger may face at the working environment

such as diversity, priorities ect.,

Objective

Enhancing my previous experience along with my exist knowledge and skills in order to achieve the collaborative goals reflected among the company goals and my own goal.

Etihad Etisalat (Mobily) 

1. Liaise with all Finance sections and other functional departments to ensure timely organized closing and extraction of related reports.
2. Prepare consolidated annual Zakat and withholding tax declarations for Mobily and observe adopting adequate presentation to ensure adherence to Saudi tax and Zakat laws.
3. Identify and extract taxable payments to non-resident parties and prepare monthly withholding tax returns.
4. Arranging for the payment of monthly withholding tax and coordinate with Mobily tax consultants for timely payment of taxes.
5. Compute and book the monthly, quarterly and annual Zakat provision for Mobily and its subsidiaries.
6. Analyze and reconcile the tax and Zakat related balance sheet accounts such as withholding tax payable and Zakat provision.
7. Arrange for VAT reclamation by preparing VAT invoices and coordinate with VAT consultants.
8. Prepare and file quarterly reports requested by Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA).
9. Prepare the Quarterly and annual Financial Reporting related to CITC and ensure adopting adequate presentation to ensure adherence to the CITC regulations.
10. Perform other duties as required by higher levels is supervision
11. Handle all agreements and transactions advisory from Withholding tax implication from negotiation phase throughout all implantation stage till finalizing the entire contract.
12. provide under on-going basis of advisory and consultations in respect of permissible impact raised from accounting practice affect Zakat status.

13. Attend and represent all Mobily appeal hearing against Primary & Higher Appeal committees.

1- Assist Accounting Manager to maintain the accounting system along with monitoring system for disbursement, in according with budget.

Tax Seminar :

Withholding tax law and rules was illustrated throughout the directors levels internally within the head-office affairs. Additionally,  I covered further tax and zakat aspects such as the allowable/disablement cost to be considered zakat treatments and other relevant accounting affairs.

IFRS Conversion project & Policy and procedure project :

It's very comprehensive project covering all six subsidiaries companies in additional to the standalone & plant location as well. For me as the (project manager) in this assignment. I maintained very good communication and monitoring skills to drive the project from obtaining the proposals stage from various consulting firms throughout the steering committee stage liaise among all relevant departmental in scooping till wrapping up with projects and resolve any dispute if any.

An International Tax, corporate tax and Zakat Services professional based in Saudi Arabia for more than eleven years, Abdullah has used his expertise in corporate tax, international tax, accounting and Audit to deliver advice and support to a variety of multinational clients from broad-ranging industries such as pharmaceutical, hospitality, IT & Telecom, financial services, industrial and manufacturing. He has also been actively involved in advising clients and internal advisory on regulatory and commercial aspects of doing business in Saudi Arabia.

Abdullah is currently involved as internal Tax and Zakat advisory for Etihad Etisalat Mobily (Riyadh Head office).
In additional, Abdullah has been practicing financial reporting function as well as costing function from internal accounting and external audit experience.
